ALE STARTS RUNNING
Some good news after last night's disappointment. Ale Faurlin has been running outside for the first time today.
QPR making their final change as Tom Carroll comes on to replace Gary O'Neil. We have around six minutes of normal time remaining.
71 mins: That is a third for Sheffield Wednesday. Lewis Buxton scores to make it 3-0. Really disappointing tonight, despite the ten men QPR not been at the races.
Just not happening for QPR in attack. Got to be careful that they don't concede a third and make a further dent in the goal difference. Still trail 2-0 with 10 men.
50 mins: Sheffield Wednesday are 2-0 up through Leon Best. Following a strong run from former QPR defender Oguchi Onyewu he played in Best who turned Nedum Onuoha inside the area before beating Murphy in the bottom corner. Will take a heroic effort to come back now.
So it is back to a back four. Right to left, Hughes, Onuoha, Dunne and Suk-Young. Kranjcar has just replaced Henry in midfield.
Two changes at the break then for QPR. Karl Henry is replaced by Niko Kranjcar whilst Junior Hoilett is replaced by Yun Suk-Young.
Will be interesting what Harry Redknapp decides to do here after the break. Gary O'Neil dropped into the back four just before half-time at right-back. Would probably expect that to continue for the start of the second half. Had been a solid start - if unspectacular - prior to the sending off but the red card and goal gave Sheffield Wednesday the impetus for the last ten minutes of the half.
Nearly a second goal for Sheffield Wednesday as Brian Murphy claws the ball off the line just before half-time. It was very close to being over the line but the linesman and referee say it wasn't. Lucky escape from QPR. Harry will need to change things about at the break.
Looks like QPR are playing with a back three until half-time. Hughes, Hill and Onuoha at the back.
35 mins: Chris Maguire sends Brian Murphy the wrong way from 12-yards and Sheffield Wednesday are ahead. As I said it was a penalty but a red card looks harsh. Going to be tough for QPR with 10 men from here on in. 1-0 to the hosts.
33 mins: Leon Best is brought down by Richard Dunne in the area and the referee points to the spot. Dunne is also sent off. Rangers players complain it looked a penalty but I think a red card is harsh for it.
30 mins: Rangers just had three players in a goalscoring positions on the six-yard box but none of them gambled and tried to turn in a miss hit shot. All three looked offside but the linesman's flag did stay down.
Bit of a lack of movement from the QPR team which is playing into Sheffield Wednesday's hands at the moment. Will need to get Morrison on the ball more to create something.
Half chance for QPR as Hoilett beats his man before putting a good cross into the penalty area but Henry was unable to keep is down under pressure. Hoilett back on the left tonight following an injury to Traore.
15 mins: Been all QPR so far with Rangers best chances coming via Hill and Zamora. QPR getting plenty of time on the ball, not being pressed like they have been at times this season which is suiting us so far. Still 0-0 though.
Half a chance there for QPR as a quickly take free-kick by Joey Barton picks out Bobby but his header goes wide of the far post. Sheffield Wednesday caught napping there and Barton exploited it excellently.
Looks like more of a 4-4-1-1 this evening with Morrison playing just behind Bobby Zamora. Nothing to report in these early stages.
So boss Harry Redknapp has made four changes this evening at Sheffield Wednesday. Brian Murphy makes his first league start for QPR in goal, replacing the injured Robert Green whilst there are also places for Karl Henry and Gary O'Neil replacing the injured Armand Traore and Jermaine Jenas. In attack following his goal against Yeovil Bobby Zamora is favoured over Will Keane. We will have confirmation on how they line-up just before kick-off.
WELCOME TO HILLSBOROUGH
We have arrived at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of tonight's Sky Bet Championship game. Team news to come in the next 30 minutes.
